WE'RE BACK!

October 2025 lilbrary presentations return for another season of lively multi-media presentatioins on "ghost hunting" with from a skeptical viewpoint, including high-tech pseudoscience, skeptical inquiry, critical and thinking pitfalls like cognitive biases. Free admission and open to the pubic. Note: Portions of this presentation may not be suitable for very young audiences.

Background: Investigators perform preliminary research about the clients, their history and experiences, and the history of the venue or its vicinity, for features that might help to create a backdrop of information assisting us with the investigation. This research helps us to provide "background" to the case and to select approaches to investigating, such as the names and references included in EVP vigils.

New Year's UFO (2010)

On January 1, 2010 a triangular formation of lights appeared in the sky above the El Cajon/Spring Valley, California area. Members of Pacific Paranormal Investigations witnessed the event and captured it on digital video. PPI presents this short video clip as part of our ongoing community outreach and education program.
